Lauren has four years of classroom teaching experience in grades 8-12 and tutoring for grades 3-8. She is passionate about one-on-one tutoring because of the amazing impact she has seen through that work. Lauren is also involved in Learning Aid Ohio, where she has served students with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and varied learning disabilities. She has experience working with French-speaking adults where the primary focus was English speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills through weekly conversation and practice activities. Lauren is excited to join Adult Literacy Ohio and help adults with developmental disabilities gain skills, confidence, and independence in various aspects of their lives.
