Samrath has 18 years of teaching experience and 8 years of tutoring experience across all grade levels, including a young adult in college with autism. Through this work, she provides direct services and helps to provide feedback and implement goals on Individual Service Plans. She is Orton-Gillingham trained and has taken courses that further her understanding of how to work with and teach neuro-diverse learners and those with dyslexia and other executive function challenges. Additionally, Samrath has worked as a Parent Directed Program Provider through Franklin County Residential Services. She has a love for learning and a passion for sharing that love with others. Samrath shares that she is excited to join Adult Literacy Ohio because she is fully aware and appreciates that reading and writing challenges can follow students beyond high school. So much in life requires a strong foundation in reading. Samrath looks forward to pulling from her extensive experience and education to assist adults in their literacy journeys!
