Elizabeth is a licensed intervention specialist with 15 years of classroom teaching experience (grades 1-12), 5 years of home instruction experience (grades 6-12) and 5 years of tutoring experience (grades 6-12). She has access to materials through Wilson Reading System, 95% phonics, and North Coast Linguistics (multi-sensory reading and writing system). Elizabeth is excited to join this program because people with disabilities make up the largest minority group in the nation, and yet they are often unemployed or underemployed because of barriers beyond their control. She is passionate about helping learners overcome some of those barriers. Elizabeth hopes to motivate each of her learners to strive for their goals. Regardless of their knowledge coming into the program, her goal is to empower learners with the tools and skills to accomplish whatever they want.
