John is a high school intervention specialist. A firm believer that every student learns differently, he uses various teaching techniques emphasizing multi-sensory instruction. For reading comprehension, he uses materials that encourage making predictions, retelling, visualizing, and story maps. He has experience working with adults with developmental disabilities as a direct support professional – and says that work is truly his “favorite thing!” John believes that there is so much room for growth within each individual – and looks forward to playing a role in the success and growth of our Adult Learners!
