Samrath has 18 years of teaching experience and 8 years of tutoring experience across all grade levels, including a young adult in college with autism.Samrath shares that she is excited to join Adult Literacy Ohio because she is fully aware and appreciates that reading and writing challenges can follow students beyond high school. So much in life requires a strong foundation in reading. Samrath looks forward to pulling from her extensive experience and education to assist adults in their literacy journeys!
Sharon is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and 1990 graduate of Walnut Hills High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in May of 1995 from Bennett College. Additionally, she earned a Master of Science degree in Biology, Secondary Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Sharon brings 28 years of professional licensed teaching experience. She has taught all subjects at all learning levels. Sharon uses effective instruction for meeting learners where they are and growing their literacy levels and skills across all subject matter.
Steph is a 9-12 Grade H.S Technology Teacher at CCS. She has a passion for meeting students where they are and individualizing instruction to be responsive to interests and needs. While Steph is not a traditional reading teacher, she is an avid reader and promotes literacy in her Career Tech Classes.
Tracey is an experienced education professional with over twenty years of experience as an Intervention Specialist, home instructor, and tutor for elementary to high school students. She particularly enjoys working one-on-one with students, tailoring lessons to their needs and learning styles. Tracey focuses on supporting individuals and helping them improve their skills to achieve success and greater independence. She prioritizes building positive relationships with her students, creating a comfortable learning environment that enables them to work effectively with her and reach their educational goals.
