Scott has five years of teaching experience at the elementary level. He has worked with individuals with ADHD, dyslexia, Autism and comprehension, phonics, fluency, and vocabulary deficits. He uses Heggerty and HMH which both include explicit instruction in key areas such as phonemic awareness, phonics, and fluency. Adults who can read, write, do basic math, and use a computer are more likely to achieve goals such as meaningful work, understand directions, etc. Scott looks forward to supporting adult learners on their literacy journeys!

Sharon is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and 1990 graduate of Walnut Hills High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in May of 1995 from Bennett College. Additionally, she earned a Master of Science degree in Biology, Secondary Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Sharon brings 28 years of professional licensed teaching experience. She has taught all subjects at all learning levels.
