Kayla is a licensed intervention specialist with 18 years of classroom teaching experience at all grade levels. She also has private tutoring experience through Learning Aid Ohio. Kayla has access to a variety of tools to help learners on their literacy journeys, including: StudyIsland, EdPuzzle, BrainPop, NewsEla, Khan Academy, Readworks, and Nearpod. Kayla is excited to join Adult Literacy Ohio because teaching has always been a passion for her, and she believes that extended learning opportunities for students who have graduated are so important!
