Kaylee is a former public-school teacher (grades 7th – 12th) and a current employee at the Huron County Board of Developmental Disabilities. As a teacher, she followed the Ohio ELA Standards and worked with a range of learners from inclusion to gifted classes. Her experience includes modifying and scaffolding lessons for students with disabilities. Kaylee is excited to join this program because she is passionate about reading and writing and believes that access to these skills is a human right. She knows that these skills are gateways to confidence, independence, and self-advocacy.
